The speech-to-text features in Outlook for iOS and Android, according to Microsoft's blog, will make it easier for users to send emails, organise meetings, and search the app using their voice. Previously, only the Microsoft Outlook desktop programme could use the dictation functionality. On mobile platforms, Microsoft's virtual assistant Cortana will be used to assist customers in navigating the Outlook software.
